Worth Waiting For

In 2008 I noticed an interesting small advert in The Spectator.  It was so intriguing that before passing the magazine on to my company waiting area, I clipped out the ad and put it in my desk drawer.

In 2011 when raking through the drawer for something I spotted this ad and went on line to check it out.  It was still going.  A luxury cruiser available for charter, up to six people, all the work done by a crew of two.  I decided to take a chance.  It was certainly worth it.  The boat was far better than the pictures on the internet.  It was immaculate, beautifully appointed, the crew (the owners) could not have been more welcoming.

Beautiful breakfasts, luxury light lunches any drinks at anytime of the day. Then your personal tender taking you ashore to dine at a different Greek Taverna in the evening.  Here the skipper was a great help with recommendations and if necessary speaking to your chosen restaurant to ensure that you had a waterside table.  The typical Greek food served as usual with their inimitable friendly style and infectious good humour.

The skipper will happily sit with you over the charts take you wherever you wish or leave it to him to find the best bays, villages and harbours.

I cannot recommend this holiday highly enough, my only regret that I had only booked a week and not a fortnight.  Anyone interested look at www.mistybluegreekwaters.com  ( but please don’t book next September before I get round to it).
